Where apps leave files behind
Dragging an app to the Trash removes the app, not the files it created. These are the 30 places Freshist checks for an app's leftovers when you uninstall it.
In your user Library
~/Library25 foldersWhen you uninstall an app, Freshist looks here for items that belong to it. Matches on the app's bundle ID can be pre-selected; name-only guesses are labeled “not sure” and never pre-selected. Removed items go to the Trash, so you can undo.

In the system Library
/Library · /private/var/db5 foldersWhen you uninstall an app, Freshist only considers items directly inside this folder whose name matches the app's bundle ID. They're never pre-selected, and because the folder is owned by macOS (root), selected items are deleted permanently by Freshist's signed helper rather than moved to the Trash.
